These include: Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE), Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE), and Small Business Enterprise (SBE).

Certifications as such are known for recognizing qualified businesses and help create more opportunities for our team to participate in public projects and infrastructure development throughout the state of Colorado.

What Is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)?

The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program is administered directly through the U.S. Department of Transportation. It is designed to help eligible businesses participate in federally assisted transportation projects.

As a certified DBE, Apex Land Surveying and Mapping LLC is eligible to participate in qualifying transportation and infrastructure projects throughout Colorado, namely in Colorado Springs and the Front Range.

What Is an Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE)?

The Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE) certification recognizes businesses that are continuing to establish themselves and grow within their industries.

This is a specific designation that helps create opportunities for emerging land surveying firms to compete for City-funded projects and certain private developments on City-owned property.

What Is a Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE)?

The Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) certification promotes diversity and inclusion within contracting and procurement opportunities.

It recognizes businesses that meet established ownership and eligibility requirements while encouraging broader participation in public projects and economic development initiatives.
